About the Event
Have you ever looked at a bird and wondered more about how it lives?
In this interactive workshop we'll use games and activities to investigate bird anatomy (specifically beaks & feet), and how it gives us hints on where the bird lives, what it may eat, and how it catches its prey.
Then we'll take a guided walk spotting local birdlife, using our newly aquired knowledge to piece the clues together to learn more about bird biology.
*Please note - bird skull specimens will be used in this workshop which some younger children may find confronting. Please ensure the suitability of this workshop prior to booking.
*This workshop includes an activity using lollies - please advise us if you do not want your child to consume the lolly!!
PLEASE WEAR ENCLOSED SHOES AND BRING A HAT AND SUNSCREEN.
Please note this is not a drop-off program, and a responsible carer or adult must be present at all times. Adults are welcome to join the workshop, picnic on the grounds, or make full use of the barista coffee window and free wifi.
