About the Event
Please join the WA Guitar Orchestra at the Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre for a magical evening of classical guitar music.
The event will start at 5pm with a range of classical guitar ensemble pieces, followed by refreshments served lakeside during intermission.
About the WA Guitar Orchestra:
Formed in 2002 the WA Guitar Orchestra has become a foundation of the Classical Guitar Society of Western Australia’s activities. It currently comprises players of all ages, ranging from school age to retirement and provides fun music making in a relaxed and social environment.
The orchestra performs in such geographically diverse venues as the University of WA, the Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre, the Maylands Yacht Club and the Perth Town Hall. The main concerts of the year are scheduled in June-July and December.
