Intriguing Insects and their mysterious lives!

Have you ever wondered what makes a bug, a bug? What's the difference between a bug & a beetle? What creepy crawly is that?!

Join us on an invertebrate hunt, get hands on to learn the features of different insects, where/how they live, why they are so crucial to our ecosystems, and what we can do to protect them.

Investigate many intriguing insects through a series of hands-on activities, games and crafts in this 2hr workshop!

Best suited ages 5+

Please note that this is NOT a drop-off programme, and all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. 

(Guardians are welcome to relax with a barista coffee on the verandah and make use of the FREE WiFi while their child is participating in the workshop!)

Although the session is 2 hours, participants are able to enjoy the centre and surrounds for the day or enjoy a picnic on the grass afterwards. Tickets $25 per participant (Parents/Carers Free). Friends of the WA Gould League receive a 15% discount on all Holiday Adventures. Please login to the website to recieve your discount when purchasing tickets.

Please note a COVID event plan will be in place – physical distancing, sanitization measures, contact registers and increased indoor ventilation will be in place, with the majority of the event held outdoors in open space. Masks & proof of vaccination will be required where mandated.
