Join Cass from Roaming Reptile Education for a one hour informative and hands-on scaley encounter! Then don your dress-up scrubs and rehabilitate some creatures in our roleplay wildlife rescue clinic, or explore the animals that call the Discovery Centre home.

About the Event
Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre is about to have some special reptile visitors this school holidays! Cass from Roaming Reptile Education is presenting an hour-long interactive educational experience, where children can get up close and personal with a range of ectothermic creatures.
Depending on animal wellbeing on the day, you may get to meet: Georgia or Russel the bobtail, Felix the frilled neck lizard, Wilma the woma python, Lisa the Stimson's python and Martini the olive python.
After meeting the scaley team, children are welcome to don their dress-up scrubs and take part in our interactive pretend-play wildlife rescue clinic, or meet the animals that call the Discovery Centre home.
This family-friendly event will run from 10am to 12pm on Monday 10th July at the Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre (Cnr Flynn & Selby Streets, Wembley).
Other Important Information:
- Tickets are $25 per participant, with parents and carers free of charge (Friends of the WA Gould League receive 15% off all School Holiday Adventures).
- Suitable for children 5+ yrs
- Please note this is not a drop-off program and children must be accompanied by a responsible adult; however adults are welcome to make use of the coffee window and free Wifi whilst maintaining supervision of their child.
- Bring a water bottle and wear covered shoes during your visit.
